Endeavour Tea has created a fragrant Sencha blend featuring a marriage of apple and spice, with a delicate top note of organic rose petals and pleasing slight astringency. Well suited to an afternoon picnic with cheese and crackers.
Serving instructions: Steep 1 tsp per cup at 80°C for 2-3 minutes.
Blend Information: A gently spiced blend inspired by a spiced apple and rose compote dessert. As a steamed green tea, the sencha has a slightly grassy and very faintly peppery characteristic that is enhanced with the addition of peppercorn and crushed clove. Fine rose petals balance the gentle astringency and spiciness with a heavenly floral note. The apple pieces are ground with their skins intact, introducing fragrance, visual appeal and a wonderful aspect of woodland fruit.
